Edwine Okuta is the founding partner of the firm . He has over 15 years post admission experience.

Mr. Okuta holds a Masters of Law Degree (LLM) from the University of London, with Specialization in Human Rights Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and Philosophy) from the University of Nairobi. Mr. Okuta also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. Mr. Okuta is also a certified data protection officer.

He was called to the Bar in the year 2010 after which he worked in top law firms which equipped him with the necessary skills to undertake complex legal matters with exellence. He has also worked at the Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Limited where he handled diverse commercial matters. He is therefore well grounded in both commercial and civil litigation.

Mr. Okuta has sound experience in the NGO Sector. He served as the Head of Legal for Kenya Red Cross Society for 10 years where he was exposed to processes and procedures relating to non-governmental organizations. He was also instrumental in developing policies and was involved in strategic collaboration with both local and international organizations.

Apart from managing the firm, Mr. Okuta is also passionate about teaching law. He has served as a lecturer in Kenyan universities. He is currently an adjunct law lecturer at the Kenya School of Law. His other areas of interest include International humanitarian law, International criminal law and Refugee Law. He is a member of the Kenya National Committee on the Prevention of Genocide., Crimes Against Humanity and all Forms of Discrimination (KNC). He is also an alumni of the Global Raphael Lemkin Seminar for the Prevention of Genocide.
